PictureGear Studio functions   

 PictureGear Studio   Ver.1.0

PictureGear Studio is a software for your computer.
You can edit still image files and movie image files, and manage them as photo album or binder. You can also exchange binders with your CLIÉ™ handheld.
Note
You need to install the PictureGear Studio software on your computer using the supplied Installation CD-ROM.

Insert the Installation CD-ROM into your computer’s CD-ROM drive.
The installation launcher window appears.
If the installation launcher window does not appear, click the CD-ROM drive icon on the Windows® Explorer, and then double-click Setup.exe.

Click CLIÉ Image from the categories displayed on the left side of the window.

Click the Install button for the PictureGear Studio software.
The software installation starts.
Follow the on-screen instruction to complete the installation.

Click Finish.
The installation is complete.
Refer to the Help files of the PictureGear Studio software for operating instructions.
To view the Help, click Start, select Program (All Programs in Windows® XP), PictureGear Studio, and then click PictureGear Studio and start the PictureGear Studio software. Then, click the Help icon.

You can create following two types of albums.
Note that there are some limitations when exchanging albums between the PictureGear Studio software and the CLIE Album application.
Photo album
• You can add comments to the still images pasted on a page. It is convenient when managing photographs.
• You can transfer and view the photo albums created with the CLIE Album application to the computer, but you cannot transfer the photo albums created with the PictureGear Studio software to the CLIE Album application.
Binder
• You can add detailed information such as comments, title, and date. This is useful when you have certain theme for your collection of still images. There are number of layouts provided.
• You can create an original layout for your binder in the PictureGear Studio software. However, when you add too many items to the layout, you may not be able to view all the items on your CLIÉ™ handheld.
• You can exchange the binders between the CLIE Album application and the PictureGear Studio software.
