SMS menu items
The following items appear when you tap Menu on your CLIÉ handheld screen.
This section describes the menu commands specific to the Calculator.
For menu items common to other CLIÉ applications, see “Common menus” in the Handbook supplied with your CLIÉ handheld.
The Message and Options menus differ depending on the screen displayed.
Message menu
Send Sends all messages not already sent. If there is no message to send, a sound is emitted.
Check Retrieves messages stored in the phone.
Empty Trash Prompts you to confirm that you want to permanently remove all messages in the Trash category from your CLIÉ handheld.
Archive Moves the current message to the Archive category.
Draft Moves the current message to the Draft category.
Options menu
Phone Lookup The Lookup screen appears. If there is an Address Book entry, you can look up the phone number and add information to the message.
Font Opens the Font dialog box where you can choose different fonts for the list and message views.
Preferences Shows the Preferences screen.
• Sort by: Specifies the item to sort list from Date, Type, Sender, or Context.
• Show Date: Displays the date in the list.
• Alert Sound: Specifies an alarm to ring when you receive a new SMS message. You can select the sound you want to play from the pick list.
• Confirm Deleted Message: Displays a confirmation dialog box each time you delete a message.
• Delete After Transfer:Deletes the attachment after transferring it to the corresponding application.
• Signature: Specifies the signature to add to the end of a message. Enter your signature on the space provided.
Add signature Adds the signature that you have created on the Preferences screen at the end of a message.
